WifiAid - Main Window

The WifiAid program displays a list of the possible networks.  Since this list can be quite large, several filters are available:

• Display only the currently visible networks
• Display only open networks for which no security passwords are required
• Display associated networks, those with the same SSID, as a single entry

To connect to a network the operator simply double clicks on the station.  The connection process has four possible outcomes:

• Not Connected: no response was received from the network
• WLAN Connected: the network is local only and not connected to a gateway
• Gateway Connected: the network is gateway connected but the Internet is not detected
• Internet Connected: the network is connected to the Internet
