Several different types of detectors are provided with the SoundDetector:

  • The Pactor 2 and Pactor 3 are the primary detectors.  These make the automatic connection possible, using the AirMail program.

  • The WWV detector is an example of a secondary detector.  This detector is used to determine the frequency offset of the HF Radio by using a WWV channel as an reference signal and then measuring the offset in the IF frequency.  An example is shown in WWV Detector.
