The user has several options to enter locations for receiver and transmitter:
to display a world map and then drag the Receiver (R) and Transmitter (T) indicators to a new location.
to select the current Lat and Lon data reported by the AirMail program. Click the Transmitter's AirMail button
to display a list of HAM and SailMail stations and then select the desired station.Based on the user's desired locations PropagationAid computes and displays predicted Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) by hour and frequency. The time and frequency with the biggest number offers the best choice. In the sample chart shown here, times and frequencies with 70 or better offer the best choices.
Detailed propagation data is also available for each hour and frequency.
