InstrumentAid Block - Diagram Window

The InstrumentAid program was designed to display data from multiple NMEA 0183 devices.  The typical devices include:

• Wind package for Apparent Wind Angle and Apparent Wind Speed
• Speed transducer for Speed over Water
• Depth transducer for Water Depth and Water Temperature
• GPS unit, for Speed over Ground and Course over Ground

The Input Data button displays the Comm Port selection and NMEA 0183 options.  The Decoder button displays options for computing true wind from apparent wind.  The Strip Chart button displays the data versus time.  The Polar Plot button displays the performance polar data.
