CommPort - Modem Window

The Modem Tab lists command sentences to test various modems.  The following modems are supported:

• Pactor Modem
• Iridum Modem

Pressing the appropriate button will send that command to the modem and the modem's response will be displayed.  If the modem does not respond then there is a problem.  The problem might be:

• The device may be broken or turned off
• The interface cable is not connected or is wired incorrectly
• The wrong comm port is being used
